What is "FIRST TIME RIGHT" ?

"First Time Right" (FTR) is a term used in project management and quality assurance to describe the goal of completing a task or project correctly on the first attempt, without the need for rework or corrective action.

The idea behind FTR is that it saves time, resources, and money by reducing the need for rework, revisions, and corrections. It is especially important in industries such as manufacturing and software development, where mistakes can be costly and time-consuming to correct.

In practice, achieving FTR requires careful planning, attention to detail, and a focus on quality throughout the project lifecycle. It often involves establishing clear quality standards, using standardized processes, and conducting rigorous testing and verification to catch errors before they become problems.
